The Inspiration Behind Welcome:
I could not wait to update this section of the website! The foundation of Welcome is dynamic: "The force is strong with this one". A huge amount of luvv, time, and work has gone into his development and I feel like that shows in the end product of the logo its self and the clothing it is printed on. Here are some of the sources of Inspiration:
"Banjo" from "The Man Who Came to Dinner" (1942)

In a famous seen toward the end of the movie the charismatic Banjo (Jimmy Durante) drops by the house to meet with his good friend "Mr. Whitesides" (Monty Woolley). The ultra conservative and proper female nurse answers the door and Banjo just explodes with joy. His eyes get big, his arms fly open, and he takes the unsuspecting nurse in his arms with an explosion of emotion:

She screams for help but its to late. She is wrapped up in a luvving embrace which you suspect she might secretly like. Banjo starts speaking the ways of luvv to his new found honey, reciting such classic one liners as: "I want you waiting for me upstairs, and bring some Rye bread". And "your beautiful I tell ya, simply beautiful - I luvvs ya Madly!". After a few more minutes of sweet talk and big expression Banjo plants a big kiss on the nurse and she storms out of the room (and later the house when she quits over the affair). It is a fantastic scene that rolls on about 10 more minutes and features the talented Jimmy Durante singing some great songs. It lifted the nurse, the movie, and all who watch it.
To see the connection between this sceen in the movie and Welcome's destiny on the planet Earth just picture Welcome as Jimmy Durante, and the housekeeper as the Egg. This is one luvving, dynamic, charged up Sperm that is not taking no for an answer. He is going to make a change, and make the luvv in spite of all opposition in the reproductive process. This has the potential to change the Sperm/Egg war to a connection of and exchange.
Mickey Mouse (1928)

Welcome owes many of his physical traits to the Academy Award winning symbol created by Walt Disney. No part of Mickey was actually used to create the logo so please don't sue us Disney! Wart Disney created a dynamic symbol that has since grown into a world wide mega-star and symbol of everything great. Mickey has earned more money that any being in the history of mankind (500 Billion+ by most estimates), and continues to bring joy and upliftment to all who see him (and ever more that don't!) And you can be sure Welcome and Mickey are best buddies out there beyond creation.

Above All I want to acknowledge the true source of the above recommendations, the development of Welcome & Welcome Clothing, and the source of 99.9% of the inspiration, luvv, vision, correction, truth and learning in this project: Henry Conyers. I bring it all to life but the vision and fuel come from him as we work together to develop these qualties in me. I want the achievements of Welcome Clothing to stand as an acknowledgement and appreciation for the work he has done with me.
